Description

Middle Atlantic G4017N 4000 Series Inverted Internal Elbow Fitting

Overview

The G4017N is an inverted internal elbow fitting designed for the Middle Atlantic 4000 Series steel raceway system. It handles direction changes at inside corners where a standard elbow would protrude — keeping cable runs flush against wall transitions rather than creating an exposed bend that interferes with adjacent equipment or aesthetics. This is the fitting you reach for when routing low-voltage cabling (security, AV, network) through inside-corner transitions in clean-finish commercial environments. The G4017N ships in gray to match the 4000 Series raceway profile, and carries TAA compliance for federally contracted installations where country-of-origin requirements apply.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Middle Atlantic 4000 Series steel raceway system. This fitting mates with 4000 Series base and cover sections — confirm your installed raceway is the 4000 line before ordering, as Middle Atlantic's 200, 300, and 500 Series use different cross-sections and fittings are not interchangeable. The inverted internal profile is specific to inside-corner transitions; for outside corners or standard (non-inverted) inside corners, the 4000 Series elbow family includes separate SKUs. If you are building out a cable management run that includes both horizontal and vertical segments, verify elbow orientation (inverted vs. standard, internal vs. external) against your actual wall geometry before ordering multiples.

Installation Notes

TAA-compliant status means this fitting is eligible for use on U.S. government projects subject to the Trade Agreements Act — document the G4017N part number on your bill of materials if project compliance tracking is required. No tools beyond standard raceway installation hardware are indicated; fitting installs per the standard 4000 Series assembly method. Color is gray — if your installation mixes raceway finishes, confirm against installed base before ordering.
