Description

Middle Atlantic G6007C-1 6000 Series One-Gang Steel Device Plate

Overview

The Middle Atlantic G6007C-1 is a one-gang steel device plate designed for use with the 6000 series raceway and cord cover system. At 2.5 in wide × 4.75 in tall × 0.38 in deep, it provides a clean, finished termination point for single-gang devices — outlets, keystone jacks, low-voltage faceplates — within a surface-mounted raceway run. Gray finish matches standard 6000 series raceway components. TAA compliant, making it eligible for federally funded installations and government procurement programs. If you are specifying a Middle Atlantic raceway solution for a commercial AV or security retrofit, this plate closes out single-gang device locations without exposed cutouts or mismatched hardware.

Compatibility

Designed for the Middle Atlantic 6000 series surface raceway product family — the one-gang fitting format fits standard 6000 series single-gang device openings. Compatible with single-gang wall plates, low-voltage inserts, keystone modules, and standard decorator-style devices that mount to a one-gang opening. Not intended for two-gang or larger raceway openings; for those applications, select the appropriate multi-gang device plate in the 6000 series line. Verify raceway channel width and device plate model against your specific 6000 series channel configuration before ordering.

Installation Notes

Steel construction keeps the plate rigid under repeated device insertion and removal — relevant in high-traffic AV or network infrastructure closets where keystone jacks see daily use. Depth of 0.38 in (1 cm) adds minimal projection beyond the raceway face. Canadian certification is not applicable to this SKU; verify local code compliance for Canadian installations. Gray color (RAL not specified in evidence) matches standard 6000 series raceway — confirm color lot consistency if mixing with older installed raceway sections.
