Description

Middle Atlantic 5-14-26 Knockdown 14RU Rack Frame

Overview

The Middle Atlantic 5-14-26 is a TAA-compliant, knockdown rack frame designed for AV and IT equipment installation. Its open design facilitates easier access for wiring and component mounting, making it suitable for environments where a full enclosure is not required or desired. The 14 Rack Units (RU) of vertical space and 26 inches of usable depth provide ample room for network switches, patch panels, and other rack-mountable gear. This frame is constructed in the USA and supports up to 400 lbs, ensuring stability for substantial loads.

Compatibility

This rack frame utilizes standard 19-inch panel width and 10-32 tapped rack rails, compatible with most standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment, including network switches, patch panels, AV components, and surveillance DVRs/NVRs. Its open design is ideal for systems that require good airflow or easy access for maintenance. The TAA compliance makes it suitable for government and educational installations.

Installation Notes

The knockdown design requires assembly prior to equipment loading. The frame is constructed from steel and rated for a substantial 400 lbs (181.4 kg) UL load capacity, ensuring structural integrity under load. Its width is 19.13 inches, designed to fit standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment.
