Middle Atlantic SGB-MAAP Single-Gang Floor Box Plate for Extron MAAP Devices

Overview

The SGB-MAAP is a single-gang bottom plate designed for Middle Atlantic's Middle Atlantic AF Series floor boxes, providing a dedicated mounting interface for Extron MAAP series devices. If you're deploying Extron MAAP modules in a floor box AV infrastructure — conference rooms, training spaces, or huddle areas — this plate is the correct mechanical interface between the floor box and the Extron hardware. Without it, MAAP modules have no defined mounting point in the AF Series enclosure.

Compatibility

The SGB-MAAP accepts two Extron Electronics MAAP series devices (sold separately). It is designed for the Middle Atlantic AF Series floor box line. MAAP devices must be sourced from Extron independently — the plate provides only the mechanical interface. Verify your specific AF Series floor box model supports single-gang bottom plate configurations before ordering; the plate does not fit non-AF Series enclosures or competitor floor box systems.

Installation Notes

Mounting is floor-oriented, consistent with the AF Series floor box design. Two MAAP device slots are provided per plate — plan your AV signal routing accordingly if populating both positions. MAAP devices are not included and must be ordered separately from Extron.
