Overview
The Janam PK-XT3-1 is a regulated 5V AC power supply designed for charging and field operation of the XT3 series rugged mobile computer. Use this accessory when deploying XT3 devices in fixed-location scenarios—warehouse workstations, shipping offices, or mobile deployment vehicles—where continuous power and rapid battery top-up are required. The PK-XT3-1 provides the correct voltage and current profile to support both the standard 2900mAh and optional 5800mAh battery packs without overstress or thermal risk.
Compatibility
The PK-XT3-1 is designed exclusively for the Janam XT3 series rugged mobile computer. Do not use with other Janam product families or third-party devices. The XT3 is rated IP67 (dust and water immersion to 1 meter for 30 minutes) and survives repeated 1.5m drops to concrete; the power supply must be kept in a dry, controlled environment—not mounted in outdoor enclosures or exposed to the XT3's field duty conditions. Verify your XT3 device carries a Pogo Pin industrial connector compatible with this power supply before purchase.
Installation Notes
Connect the PK-XT3-1 to a standard AC outlet (100–240V input, 50/60Hz typical). The output connector aligns with the XT3's Pogo Pin industrial port on the left edge of the device. Ensure the device is powered off before connecting or disconnecting the supply. Store the power supply indoors at –13°F to 158°F (–25°C to 70°C) when not in use; do not subject it to the extreme operating range or drop tests that the XT3 itself is rated for. For mobile deployment vehicles, use a 12V automotive-to-5V DC inverter as an intermediate step rather than running the AC power supply directly from a vehicle battery.
