Overview

The Vertiv 12792 is a 66-inch vertical, metered rack power distribution unit (rPDU) designed to provide reliable power to critical IT equipment. It features a local LED display that shows real-time power consumption metrics (Amps, Volts, Watts, Power Factor), allowing for immediate feedback during equipment deployment or relocation. This unit helps avoid accidental overloads by providing clear visibility into power usage. Every unit undergoes 100% testing for assured reliability and functionality.

Compatibility

This rPDU is designed for standard IT rack environments. It accepts standard NEMA 5-15P plugs and provides 20 NEMA 5-15R receptacles spaced 2.8 inches apart. The 10-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug is compatible with standard 120V circuits. It is suitable for deployment with servers, network switches, and other rack-mounted IT hardware requiring up to 15A of power per receptacle and a total load capacity of 1.4kW.

Installation Notes

The unit mounts vertically in standard 19-inch racks using included top and bottom mounting clips. The power cable is 10 feet long, providing flexibility in placement within the rack. The rPDU operates within an ambient temperature range of 10-45°C (50-113°F). Overcurrent protection is provided by an integrated 15A thermal breaker.
