Overview

The Vertiv 38215 is a 0U vertical rack PDU designed to deliver reliable power to critical IT equipment within a standard server rack or cabinet. This unit provides 14 NEMA 5-20R outlets, suitable for powering a range of network devices, servers, and other rack-mounted hardware. Its 20A capacity and 120V input voltage, protected by a 20A thermal breaker, ensure safe and stable power distribution for your infrastructure. Every unit undergoes 100% testing for reliability.

Compatibility

This PDU is designed for standard 19-inch server racks and cabinets. It connects to a 120V power source via its NEMA L5-20P twist-lock plug, requiring a compatible outlet. The 10-foot power cord offers flexibility in placement within the rack environment. It is suitable for use with any IT equipment requiring NEMA 5-20R receptacles and drawing up to 20A per outlet, with a total load capacity of 1.9kW.

Installation Notes

The vertical 0U form factor allows for installation in the unused space on the side of most standard racks, maximizing equipment density. The PDU includes plastic mounting clips for bottom and top mounting. The operating temperature range is 10-45°C (50-113°F). It is UL & c-UL Listed 60950 compliant.
