Overview

The Epson B12B819691 is the factory-replacement paper alignment plate for the DS-870 document scanner. The alignment plate guides media through the feed path, keeping documents registered accurately during high-volume batch scanning — a worn or damaged plate leads to skewed pages, misfeeds, and OCR errors that compound across large document runs. Replacing it with the correct OEM component restores the feed path geometry the DS-870 was calibrated around, avoiding the throughput loss and re-scan cycles that come with a degraded original.

Compatibility

The B12B819691 is designed specifically for the Epson DS-870 document scanner. It is not a universal alignment plate — confirm your scanner model before ordering.
