Description

Panduit F92RLU2U2ONM044 OS2 2F 2MM PC Lszh LC APC Uniboot /lcea

Overview

The Panduit F92RLU2U2ONM044 is a 44-meter (144.4 ft) OS2 singlemode fiber optic patch cable. It features LC Duplex connectors with APC polish and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, making it suitable for environments where fire safety and low smoke emission are critical. This cable is engineered for rapid deployment in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas, reducing installation time compared to field-terminated fiber.

Compatibility

This cable is designed for use with standard LC Duplex interfaces found on network switches, routers, transceivers (e.g., SFP, SFP+, QSFP+), and other fiber optic equipment. Its OS2 singlemode fiber type is compatible with all 1310nm and 1550nm transceivers and is suitable for extended reach applications up to 10km or more, depending on the transceiver specifications. It adheres to TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ITU-T G.652.D standards, ensuring interoperability with compliant networking hardware.

Installation Notes

The uniboot design allows for a single cable jacket to house both fibers, simplifying cable management and reducing bundle diameter. The LSZH jacket offers enhanced safety but requires proper ventilation to prevent heat buildup in high-density racks. Ensure connector end-faces are clean before mating to prevent signal degradation and connector damage. The APC polish on the connectors minimizes back reflection, which is crucial for high-speed data transmission and sensitive optical equipment.
