With LC duplex connectors on both ends and a 2-fiber, 50/125µm OM5 core, it is engineered for structured cabling deployments in data centers, telecommunications rooms, entrance facilities, and equipment distribution areas where pulling and field-terminating individual runs is not practical. OM5 wideband multimode supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) alongside conventional 850nm transmission, giving this cable a clear upgrade path to 40G, 100G, and beyond over existing multimode infrastructure — without replacing the cable plant when bandwidth demands increase.

The Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket means that in the event of a fire, the cable does not emit toxic halogenated gases — a requirement in plenum corridors, confined equipment rooms, and any installation governed by European or international fire safety codes.
