The Panduit FRZ8PJJY011M007 is a 7-meter, OM4, 8-fiber MPO (Multi-fiber Push On) patch cable designed for high-density fiber optic applications. This cable facilitates efficient connections between transceivers in data centers, enterprise networks, and telecommunications environments, supporting 40GbE and 100GbE applications where high bandwidth and reliable signal integrity are critical. The POLB (Polarity B) configuration ensures correct channel mapping in standard MPO trunking systems.
This cable is designed for use with standard MPO/MTP connectors and transceivers supporting OM4 fiber. It is compatible with 40GbE (QSFP+) and 100GbE (QSFP28) interfaces commonly found in enterprise and data center switches from vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and HPE, as well as other networking equipment utilizing MPO connectivity.
Ensure the MPO connectors are clean before insertion to prevent signal degradation. The POLB configuration is standard for connecting a trunk cable (Type A) to a patch panel or switch port (Type B) in a typical two-path system. Avoid sharp bends or kinks that exceed the minimum bend radius of OM4 fiber to maintain performance.
