Description

Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM013 OM4 Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM013 is a 13-meter (42.65 ft) OM4 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density data center and telecommunications room interconnections. Its Uniboot design with LC duplex connectors on both ends simplifies cable management by consolidating two fibers into a single pull-boot connector, reducing the number of cables and ports required. The aqua LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket ensures compliance with fire safety regulations in sensitive environments.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered for use within Panduit's Opti-Core™ fiber optic systems and other infrastructure requiring OM4 multimode fiber connectivity. It is compatible with standard LC duplex ports found in network switches, servers, patch panels, and fiber optic cassettes. The specific application scenarios include main distribution areas, horizontal distribution zones, and equipment distribution areas within data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom facilities.

Installation Notes

The Uniboot design facilitates easier installation and maintenance by allowing polarity reversal without re-terminating the connector. The 2.0 mm cable diameter offers a balance between flexibility and durability. Ensure that the connected equipment ports are clean and free of debris prior to insertion to maintain optimal signal integrity and achieve the ultra-low insertion loss specified.
