Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM012 is a 12-meter (39.37 ft) OM4 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-speed data center and enterprise network interconnections. Its Uniboot design with pull-boot connectors simplifies termination and management, reducing cable congestion in high-density environments. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) Aqua cable jacket meets flammability standards, making it suitable for plenum spaces or where safety regulations require minimal smoke and halogen emission during a fire event.

Compatibility

This Panduit Opti-Core™ patch cord is engineered for use within fiber optic distribution systems. It connects to standard LC Duplex ports found on network switches, routers, servers, patch panels, and fiber optic cassettes within data centers, telecommunication rooms, and enterprise network closets. The OM4 fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, making it backward compatible with OM3 and suitable for demanding network backbone and storage area network applications.

Installation Notes

The Uniboot design allows for easy polarity reversal without needing to re-terminate connectors, a critical feature for simplifying moves, adds, and changes in dense network racks. The 2.0mm cable diameter offers a balance between flexibility and durability.
