Description

Panduit FX23LSNSNSNM4.5 OM3 Fiber Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FX23LSNSNSNM4.5 is a 2-fiber OM3 multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in enterprise networks. Featuring SC Duplex connectors on both ends and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket, this cable is engineered for rapid deployment in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas where plenum-rated or low-smoke environments are critical. Its pre-terminated configuration minimizes installation time and ensures consistent performance for critical infrastructure links.

Compatibility

This cable is designed for use with network equipment featuring SC Duplex ports, commonly found in fiber optic switches, servers, and transceivers. It supports TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring broad compatibility with compliant network hardware and infrastructure deployments. The OM3 (50/125µm) fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, making it suitable for high-bandwidth applications within data center racks and between network closets.

Installation Notes

The LSZH jacket material reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces or areas with strict environmental regulations. Ensure proper bend radius management during installation to maintain signal integrity; avoid sharp bends tighter than 30mm for OM3 fiber. The SC Duplex connectors snap securely into standard fiber optic patch panels and network device ports.
