Description

Panduit FX2ERQ1SNSNM019 OM3 Fiber Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FX2ERQ1SNSNM019 is a 19-meter (62.3 ft) OM3 multimode fiber optic patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding environments. Its Riser (OFNR) flammability rating makes it suitable for in-wall installations within commercial buildings, while the push-pull LC duplex connectors ensure secure and rapid termination. This cable addresses the need for pre-terminated fiber infrastructure in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas, enabling quick deployment of network links.

Compatibility

This patch cord utilizes standard LC duplex connectors, making it compatible with a wide range of network equipment featuring LC ports. It is designed to meet TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring interoperability with compliant switches, transceivers, and patch panels. The OM3 fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, suitable for backbone and horizontal cabling within these environments.

Installation Notes

The cable features a 1.6mm jacket diameter, offering a balance between flexibility and durability. Its Riser (OFNR) rating mandates installation within vertical pathways or between floors, but not in plenums. The push-pull LC connectors simplify connection and disconnection tasks, reducing installation time and the risk of connector damage. Ensure proper bend radius management (minimum 1.0 inch for 1.6mm jacket) to maintain signal integrity.
