Description

Middle Atlantic 418 Non-Metallic Extra Elbow Fitting — 400 Series, Ivory

Overview

The Middle Atlantic 418 is an extra elbow fitting for the 400 Series non-metallic raceway system, finished in ivory. When a standard 90° transition isn't enough — multi-leg conduit runs, offset routing around structural obstacles, or installations requiring more than one direction change in close proximity — the 418 gives you the additional elbow to complete the run without cutting into walls or adding junction boxes. Designed for surface-mount cord and cable management deployments where aesthetics and code compliance both matter, the ivory finish blends with light-colored wall surfaces common in office corridors, healthcare facilities, and commercial interiors. TAA compliance makes the 418 a viable choice for government and federally funded installations subject to trade agreement requirements.

Compatibility

The 418 is purpose-built for the Middle Atlantic 400 Series non-metallic raceway system. It is designed to pair with 400 Series base and cover components, including straight sections, inside corners, outside corners, and flat elbows within the same product family. Confirm your existing 400 Series ivory components before ordering — mixing raceway series or finishes will result in visible mismatches and dimensional incompatibility. This fitting is not interchangeable with the 200 or 300 Series raceways.

Installation Notes

The 418 snaps or fastens into the 400 Series raceway assembly consistent with the standard non-metallic fitting installation method for this family. No special tools are required beyond what the base raceway installation demands. Ensure the ivory finish matches your installed 400 Series run — cable management accessories in alternate colors (white, gray) are separate SKUs and are not interchangeable for a color-consistent installation. TAA-compliant sourcing is verified at the SKU level, supporting federal procurement documentation requirements without additional certification steps.
