Compatibility

The Altronix WGI is designed for general use with most outdoor-rated enclosures and conduit systems. It is compatible with standard 1/2 inch conduit fittings and is intended for use with low voltage wiring for IP cameras, access control devices, or other security system components housed in NEMA enclosures. While not specific to a single camera manufacturer, its utility lies in its ability to create a sealed entry point for any low voltage wiring run into an enclosure.

Installation Notes

Installation requires a 1/2 inch knockout or hole in the enclosure wall. The WGI threads into the conduit fitting, and the wiring passes through the central aperture. Ensure the conduit fitting is properly tightened to maintain the NEMA rating of the enclosure. Torque specifications for the conduit fitting should be followed as per the enclosure manufacturer's guidelines to prevent damage and ensure a watertight seal.
