The unit features 32 independent DC output channels, each fused at 3 amps and individually selectable for Bus1 or Bus2 operation—meaning you can partition power distribution across separate circuits without adding hardware. The RGS250-4D8Z fits standard 19-inch rack enclosures and includes a Z-bracket wire-management arm to keep output terminations organized and field-serviceable.
Compatibility
The RGS250-4D8Z is engineered for access-control and low-voltage security systems that use Bus1/Bus2 architecture—typical in Software House (UTC) legacy systems and modern integrations where multiple reader circuits or device groups require isolated power branches. Confirm your system's voltage and amperage requirements (12V or 24V) before installation; the supply cannot be field-switched between them.
Each of the 32 outputs delivers up to 3A maximum, so individual devices (card readers, door strikes, auxiliary relays) must draw ≤3A per circuit. Total system load cannot exceed 250W. The Z-bracket arm supports cable routing and strain relief for the 32 output leads. Secure outputs with labeled terminal blocks to avoid cross-wiring; each circuit is protected at 3A, so oversized loads will trip the fuse and leave devices without power until the fuse is replaced.
