The FPO250-B150M8NLC2SD4PE6M1/T8-A is a 250W managed power distribution unit designed to feed multi-camera surveillance systems and access-control networks from a single backbone supply. It delivers either 20A @ 12V or 10A @ 24V depending on your system voltage — meaning you can run roughly 10–15 mid-draw cameras per rail without a separate PSU per camera. The eight independently fused 3A outputs protect each downstream device: if one circuit shorts, the others stay live. The E6 enclosure (30H × 23W × 6.5D inches) fits standard 19-inch racks or wall-mount beside your NVR or switch, keeping cabling centralized and troubleshooting straightforward.
This supply integrates with any 12V or 24V surveillance camera or access-control reader that draws 3A or less per circuit. Common deployments include Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, and Uniview domes and bullets rated for these voltages, plus 12/24V magnetic locks and card readers. If your camera or device is PoE-powered, you don't need this unit — use a PoE switch or injector instead. Confirm your specific device's voltage and draw before assignment to an output; exceeding 3A per fuse will trip protection and disable that port.
Mount the E6 enclosure in a climate-controlled space (indoors, near your NVR rack) to avoid environmental stress on the transformer and fuses. Wire the input mains supply to the unit's terminal block — use properly rated breaker protection upstream. Run 12V or 24V distribution cabling from each fused output to your field devices, keeping runs under 300 feet to minimize voltage drop (longer runs may require heavier gauge wire or intermediate regulators). Label each fuse and output clearly to streamline future troubleshooting; a blown 3A fuse is a 30-second swap, but finding which device caused it without clear marking wastes time.
