Questions about this product? Free pre-sales support from a senior specialist — product questions, compatibility checks, BOM quotes, price confirmation — typically answered within one business day. Need camera placement or system design work? Engineering time is $175 per hour (qty 1 = 1 hour). Hardware buyers get up to one hour ($175) credited back on their order.
The FPO250/250-2C8P2D8PE4 is a 250W dual-channel power supply built for access control systems where you need independent 12V and 24V distribution to door locks, mag locks, exit devices, and auxiliary loads. Two independent 250W channels (20A @ 12V or 10A @ 24V per channel) mean you can configure each rail separately—critical for facilities mixing legacy 12V hardware with newer 24V systems without cross-contaminating voltage domains.
Sixteen dedicated lock outputs and sixteen auxiliary outputs, each power-limited at Class 2 (2.5A max per output), protect downstream hardware from overcurrent events and simplify branch circuit design. The E4 enclosure provides wall-mount density suitable for electrical closets in mid-sized commercial buildings, hospitality, healthcare, and multi-tenant access control infrastructures.
This supply integrates with any access control system (door controllers, electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit buttons, relay modules) that accepts dual 12V/24V independent distribution. Common integrations include Honeywell VISTA panels, Lenel systems, and generic RFID/credential readers drawing under 2.5A per output. Verify your downstream reader and lock current draw against the 2.5A per-output limit—parallel outputs can combine capacity for higher-draw hardware, but this requires careful design to avoid nuisance trips.
Requires 120V or 240V mains input (confirm voltage on your site before ordering). Each output is Class 2 power-limited by integral circuit, eliminating the need for external breakers on individual lock circuits—reduces panel clutter and wiring labor. Mount in a secure electrical enclosure; do not expose to moisture or direct weather. Ensure mains supply is on a dedicated breaker rated for the selected input voltage. Label both channels clearly during commissioning to prevent future voltage-mix errors.
