Overview
The FPO150-2C8E2 is a 150W power supply designed to feed access control systems, lock controllers, and auxiliary security devices that demand switchable 12V or 24V output. It delivers either 12A at 12VDC or 6A at 24VDC — choose one or the other at installation, not both simultaneously. The E2 enclosure (20H × 16W × 4.5D inches) fits standard rack or wall mounting in utility closets, MER rooms, or server cabinets. This is a straightforward regulated supply, not a UPS or battery backup device.
Compatibility
Designed for FAI (Falcon Access Integration) ecosystem devices and Lifesafety Power control modules. The 16 relay lock control outputs are fused at 3A per output, each individually selectable for failsafe or failsecure operation — common for electric strike, mag lock, and solenoid applications. Confirm your FAI controller or access panel accepts 12V or 24V input before ordering; this supply does not auto-negotiate voltage.
Installation Notes
Output voltage is set at commissioning and fixed for the deployment. No field reconfiguration between 12V and 24V without re-terminating the primary load connections. Fused relay outputs protect individual circuits; a shorted lock solenoid or strike will not cascade to knock out all 16 channels. Ensure the E2 enclosure is mounted in a climate-controlled space — no outdoor or unheated dock use without environmental protection. Wire the 16 relay outputs with appropriate gauge for the load; 3A per channel means 18 AWG minimum for runs under 100 feet at 12V.
