Description

Viking Electronics LB-50 L-Bracket for E-50 Camera

Overview

The LB-50 is a dedicated mounting bracket engineered for the Viking E-50 door entry camera. Where flush gang-box mounting isn't practical — surface walls, corner installations, or angled approaches — the LB-50 gives installers a solid mechanical base without improvised hardware. The LB-50 ships as a purpose-fit solution, keeping the E-50 camera properly oriented and secure in commercial entry deployments.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Viking Electronics E-50 camera. If you are deploying other Viking door entry phones or camera units from a different Viking series, verify the mounting footprint before ordering — the LB-50 is not a universal bracket. For E-50 installations that do flush-mount into a standard double-gang electrical box, the LB-50 is unnecessary; it is the right choice when surface or angled mounting is required instead. Pair the E-50 and LB-50 with a compatible access control system or analog entry controller to complete the door station stack. If you need guidance on camera placement and coverage angles for entry points, see the camera selection and placement guide.

Installation Notes

The E-50 camera operates on 6–22V DC at 150mA (12V DC adapter included with the camera unit, not this bracket). The LB-50 bracket itself has no power or wiring requirements — it is a mechanical component only. Confirm your wall surface and fastener selection match the bracket's footprint; no torque specifications or tool requirements are published in available evidence. The E-50 is rated for a wide operating range of -30°F to 150°F with humidity tolerance up to 100%, so the bracket will see the same environmental exposure — use corrosion-resistant fasteners in outdoor or high-humidity entry points.
