The Vertiv Liebert ITA2-40KMBC42 is a 20 kVA / 20 kW double-conversion online UPS in a dual-form-factor rack/tower chassis, designed for mid-size data rooms, edge deployments, and high-density equipment racks where input power quality is inconsistent and downtime is not an option. Part of the Vertiv Liebert ITA2 series, the ITA2-40KMBC42 delivers continuous voltage regulation across a wide 173V–498V AC input range — covering 380V, 400V, and 415V three-phase environments — without switching to battery. That means your connected equipment rides through line sags, swells, and frequency excursions that would trip a line-interactive UPS.
At up to 99% efficiency in eco-mode operation, this unit is among the more efficient online UPS systems in its class — relevant when you're sizing cooling loads and calculating annual power costs for a 24/7 installation. The 40–70 Hz input frequency window makes it suitable for generator-backed environments where frequency wanders outside the 47–53 Hz range a conventional UPS tolerates.
