The WV-Q160S is a smoked dome cover for i-PRO indoor network cameras. The smoke tint provides approximately 50% light transmittance — the camera remains operational and records full video clarity, but the lens itself is visually obscured from the floor. Deploy this in retail, office, or hospitality settings where you want surveillance presence without making the camera the visual focal point. The WV-Q160S mounts via a ceiling bracket directly onto compatible i-PRO camera bodies and includes an inner protective shell that sits flush against the camera housing.
Compatibility
The WV-Q160S is designed exclusively for i-PRO indoor dome cameras with hook-based mounts and inner cover slots. Before ordering, verify your camera model accepts this mounting system — refer to your camera's installation guide or the i-PRO product catalog. Incorrect mounting can result in camera misalignment or fall hazards. A clear-dome variant (WV-Q160C) is available if you need unobstructed lens visibility on the same camera body.
Installation Notes
Installation requires two steps: (1) Slide the inner cover onto the camera until hooks engage fully — you will hear an audible click confirming proper seating. (2) Install the outer smoked dome cover over the inner shell. The ceiling mount bracket includes a notch for network cable routing and a hole for microphone cable pass-through. If you use a tiepin-type microphone, mount it on the included rubber microphone stand. If you do not need the cable notch, remove it with a nipper and file any sharp edges to protect conductors. Avoid salt-damaging or corrosive locations. Do not install this cover on unsupported camera models — using non-specified hardware creates fall and injury hazards.
