Installation Notes
Mounting requires access above the ceiling cavity — vertical space clearance is essential to seat the embedded chassis properly. Installation involves aligning the mounting chassis with the ceiling opening, securing the bracket frame, then affixing the decorative cover assembly with the provided fasteners. The decorative cover must be rotated clockwise (viewed from below) to engage the mounting marks and tightened to the specified torque of 0.68 N·m (0.50 lbf·ft). Do not over-torque; use a calibrated torque wrench to meet the specification. The bracket includes mounting hardware; verify that your ceiling construction (drywall, drop-ceiling tile, or other substrate) can bear the weight and allow secure anchoring. For metal or concrete ceilings, additional fasteners may be required.
