Overview
The WV-Q124 is a pendant (ceiling-hung) mount bracket designed for outdoor fisheye and dome cameras in i-PRO's surveillance line. It handles the structural load and environmental exposure that come with suspended installation on building soffits, canopy ceilings, or covered loading areas — scenarios where wall or pole mounting isn't practical. IP66 rating means rain and dust won't compromise the mechanical joint or internal camera connections.
Compatibility
The WV-Q124 is engineered for i-PRO outdoor fisheye and dome models. Confirm camera model compatibility before purchase — dimensional fit and thread specifications vary across product families. The bracket also works with the WV-Q122A wall-mount variant if you need to convert the same camera to wall installation later. Always verify load ratings and recommended torque specs in the camera's documentation.
Installation Notes
Mount only on horizontal or near-horizontal surfaces (ceilings, soffits) — installation on angled or vertical surfaces will degrade performance and shorten bracket life. Tighten fasteners to the specified torque (consult the manual for exact values) and verify zero play after assembly. Install during low-humidity conditions to prevent internal camera condensation. Avoid high-vibration locations (vehicle paths, industrial machinery areas) and chemically corrosive environments (chemical facilities, salt-spray zones, hot-spring areas). Temperature operating range is −40°C to +50°C; do not install in locations subject to rapid thermal cycling that may cause condensation inside the dome. Use a surge arrestor on outdoor camera cables to protect against lightning strikes. Mount at a height that discourages accidental contact or tampering. Do not install in wind speeds exceeding 60 m/s (134 mph). Periodically inspect mounting hardware for corrosion or fatigue, especially in coastal or high-salt-spray environments.
