Overview
The B-MD-EP is a 24-inch rigid metal extension pole purpose-built to add vertical stand-off to pendant-mounted mini dome camera installations. Deploy it when your ceiling infrastructure requires clearance from wall-mounted equipment, HVAC ducts, or structural obstacles that would otherwise block or shadow the camera's field of view. The pole is designed specifically for the i-PRO B-5360 mini dome camera paired with the B-MD-ST or B-MD-MK pendant mount accessories. Multiple poles can be stacked for greater extension — useful in tall commercial spaces or industrial ceilings where a single 24-inch offset is insufficient. The pole itself carries no electrical connections; power and video pass through the parent pendant mount accessory, so installation complexity remains minimal once the mounting substrate is confirmed.
Compatibility
The B-MD-EP is engineered exclusively for the i-PRO B-5360 mini dome camera when used with pendant mount accessories B-MD-ST or B-MD-MK. Verify exact model pairing before ordering — this is not a universal extension pole. It does not support other camera brands or form factors (bullet, turret, or box cameras require different mounting hardware and load profiles). The pole adds no electrical constraints and does not affect network or power draw calculations for the camera itself.
Installation Notes
The extension pole is a rigid metal shaft designed for ceiling installation in commercial interiors. It does not include fasteners, connectors, or wall plates — those are supplied by the B-MD-ST or B-MD-MK accessory kits. For outdoor deployments or high-vibration environments (mechanical rooms, loading docks), stack multiple shorter poles rather than extending a single long run to reduce harmonic movement and camera drift.
