Overview

The Middle Atlantic HPM-1 is a 1U (1.75 in) hinged panel mount designed for 19-inch rack and wall-mount enclosures where you need shallow-depth component access without pulling the entire enclosure off the wall. At 6 inches of usable depth, the HPM-1 handles compact patch panels, keystone inserts, power strips, and small AV or security control modules — anywhere a standard fixed blank would obstruct cable management or routine maintenance. The hinged design means the panel swings open for rear access without removing screws, which matters on wall-mount installs where clearance behind the rack is tight. The HPM-1 fits 10-32 threaded rack rails, the standard found on nearly all Middle Atlantic wall and floor racks in the HPM and other enclosure series.

Fits any 19-inch EIA-standard rack or enclosure using 10-32 threaded rails — the rail type found across Middle Atlantic rack enclosures, including the BGR, BGRT, WMRB, and WMRLA series wall-mount racks. Compatible with standard rack accessories and 1U-format components up to 6 inches deep. The 19.61-inch overall width is standard for EIA-310 compliance. Not compatible with M6 or 12-24 rail systems without adapter hardware (not included).
