Overview
The FMR-1627A3GC is a 16RU, 27-inch-deep freestanding side rack from Middle Atlantic's Middle Atlantic Forum series, built for AV and security equipment installations where space is constrained and a finished appearance matters. At 25.75 inches wide and 35 inches tall (38.5 inches with casters), it fits beside lecterns, credenzas, and presentation furniture in conference rooms, boardrooms, and control suites. The 21.4-inch usable depth accommodates most 1RU and 2RU appliances without forcing cable management compromises. With a 300 lb weight capacity, you can fully populate it with network video recorders, AV processors, or network gear without structural concern. The Asian Night HPL finish with graphite trim integrates cleanly into furnished corporate environments. Compatibility
Accepts standard 19-inch rackmount equipment on forward rackrails — compatible with rack-mount network switches, 1U–4U NVRs, patch panels, UPS units, and AV signal processors that conform to EIA-310 rack standards. Installation Notes
Casters add 3.5 inches to the standing height (38.5 inches total) — verify door clearance and finished ceiling heights before positioning. The 25mm × 150mm swing handles require clearance on both sides during transit and repositioning; account for this in tight alcove installs.
