Overview

The Panduit MFFPEBL is an adapter plate designed to extend standard faceplates, creating a deeper mounting area for modular equipment. This black ABS extension plate is specifically engineered for use with Panduit's CFFP4, CFFPL4, and UICFFP4 series faceplates, providing approximately 1/2 inch (12.7mm) of additional depth. It solves the common deployment challenge where standard faceplate depth is insufficient for certain network or communication modules, ensuring proper fit and finish in commercial and industrial environments.

Compatibility

This extension plate is compatible with Panduit modular faceplates from the CFFP4, CFFPL4, and UICFFP4 families. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with these specific Panduit copper-systems faceplate housings, allowing for the accommodation of deeper active equipment or connectors behind the wall plate.

Installation Notes

Constructed from ABS material, the MFFPEBL offers durability for its intended use. The extension provides an additional 0.5 inches of mounting depth, which is critical for accommodating larger RJ45 jacks, patch cords with substantial boots, or other communication modules that exceed the standard recess of the base faceplate. Installation involves attaching this plate to the existing faceplate before mounting it to the wall box.
