This converter is specifically designed to bridge 10-MBPS Thinnet (RG-58 coaxial) networks to 10-MBPS Ethernet (RJ-45) networks. It is compatible with any network device that uses a Thinnet interface and requires a 10-MBPS connection. This includes older IP cameras, DVRs, or network switches that may not have been upgraded to faster Ethernet standards. It is not compatible with 100-MBPS or Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure.
