Overview

The Black Box EMD2002SE-K is a transmitter/receiver kit designed to extend HD/SDI video signals over standard CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable. It supports transmission up to 100 meters (328 feet), preserving signal integrity for professional video applications. Compatibility

This kit is engineered to work with standard HD/SDI video sources and displays. It is compatible with signals conforming to SMPTE 259M, 292M, and 424M standards. The use of CAT5e or CAT6 cable ensures broad compatibility with readily available network cabling infrastructure. It is designed for direct point-to-point extension and does not require any specific software or network configuration beyond basic cable termination.

Installation Notes

Installation requires terminating both ends of the CAT5e/6 cable with standard RJ45 connectors.
