ELK Products ELK-74 Power Amplifier Evaluation Kit
Overview
The ELK-74 is a prototyping platform for the PA165 power amplifier, supplied as a complete evaluation kit with all components included. It provides a stable circuit board layout and proper grounding necessary to characterize the PA165 amplifier across standard or proprietary configurations. The ELK-74 mounts the PA165 on a dedicated daughter board with integrated input protection diodes, power supply bypass capacitors, and frequency compensation capacitors. The kit includes passive component placeholders and connector pads designed for manual soldering—components are intentionally left unsoldered to give you flexibility to reconfigure the amplifier topology and compensation network to match your specific application requirements.
Compatibility
The ELK-74 evaluates the PA165 amplifier IC. This kit is for bench evaluation and prototype development of amplifier circuits; it is not a finished access control component and does not integrate directly into existing security systems. The board accommodates the PA165PQ package and supports flexible input and output configurations through onboard test points and connector pads.
