The -EWP variant adds IP66-rated Enhanced Weather Protection and gel-filled butt connectors, making it viable in elevator pits, lobbies with exterior door exposure, or any shaft environment where condensation and moisture ingress are a real concern. Operating range is -15°F to 130°F (-26°C to 54°C) with humidity tolerance up to 100% — meaningful in below-grade or partially outdoor elevator environments where standard 5–95% non-condensing ratings fall short.
