The Panduit CMDSDBLCZIW is a duplex LC fiber optic adapter designed for high-density structured cabling applications. It features a DB-style connector interface, enabling efficient termination and management of fiber optic runs within telecommunications rooms and data centers. This adapter facilitates reliable signal transmission for surveillance and data networking infrastructure, ensuring clean transitions between different cabling components.
This adapter is engineered for use with Panduit's Net-Access™ and Net-Shelter® SX racks and cabinets, as well as other standard 19-inch rack systems. It is compatible with standard duplex LC fiber optic patch cords and bulk fiber optic cable assemblies terminated with duplex LC connectors. The DB interface is common in patch panel and equipment rack environments.
Installation requires standard rack-mounting hardware. Ensure the rack is properly grounded before installation. The adapter slides into standard rack-mount panels or enclosures. No specific torque values are required for the adapter itself, but ensure patch cords are securely seated in the LC ports.
