The Middle Atlantic DS4075A-DG is an offset fitting designed for the DS4000 raceway and cord cover system, finished in gray to match the DS4000 series palette. Offset fittings solve a common conduit-routing problem: when a raceway run must transition around a surface obstacle or change planes without a standard 90-degree elbow, the DS4075A-DG provides the directional offset needed to keep cable management clean and continuous. TAA compliance makes it a valid choice for federal, state, and municipal installations where Trade Agreements Act conformance is a procurement requirement.

Compatibility

The DS4075A-DG is purpose-built for the Middle Atlantic DS4000 series steel raceway and cord cover system. It is compatible with DS4000-series raceway channels, covers, and joining hardware finished in gray. Verify that adjacent DS4000 components — base channels, covers, inside/outside corners, and couplers — are also specified in gray (DG suffix) to maintain a consistent finish across the run. This fitting is not interchangeable with DS3000 or DS6000 series components, which use different profile widths.

Installation Notes

Mount the DS4075A-DG in line with the DS4000 raceway run at the point where the offset transition is required. Secure using the fastener pattern consistent with the DS4000 base channel installation. Ensure the offset direction is correct before committing fasteners — the fitting is directional and cannot be reversed once the adjacent raceway sections are cut to length. As part of a cable management assembly in commercial AV or security infrastructure, confirm surface flatness at the transition point; an uneven substrate at the offset can stress the fitting joints and compromise the raceway's closed profile.
