Overview

The BE05-1855-5GC-GP is a 4-port, 2.5G managed switch module designed to extend LAN capacity on Cradlepoint BE05 series 5G branch routers. Deploy this when your branch site needs multi-gigabit Ethernet connectivity between on-site devices (servers, access points, printers, cameras) while the router handles WAN consolidation via simultaneous 5G and LTE connections. Each port delivers 2.5G throughput — roughly 2.5× faster than standard 1G Ethernet — reducing aggregation bottlenecks in retail POS networks, manufacturing floors, and remote offices where uplink saturation matters.

Compatibility

Integrates with Cradlepoint BE05 series 5G branch routers and adapters. Use it to expand LAN switching capacity beyond the router's built-in ports, supporting standard Ethernet-based branch infrastructure requirements including device interconnection, printer/camera aggregation, and access point uplink consolidation. Includes 5-year Netcloud subscription.

Installation Notes

Mount as a switching module adjacent to your BE05 router in a standard branch cabinet or wall-mounted enclosure. Connect uplink ports to the router's available Ethernet interfaces using standard Cat6A or Cat7 cabling to achieve full 2.5G per-port performance. No additional power supply required when integrated into the BE05 chassis. Standard RJ45 connectors on all four ports — no SFP or fiber conversion needed for typical branch LAN builds.
