Overview

The Panduit ISFCH6X04ATL-UG is a 1000-foot spool of Cat 6A industrial copper cable designed for demanding network environments. It features an SF/UTP (Screened/Unshielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction with 24 AWG stranded conductors, offering robust performance for data transmission in factory floors, automation systems, or other harsh settings. This cable supports PoE+ (802.3at), ensuring reliable power delivery to connected devices without needing separate power supplies. Its CM flammability rating meets building codes for riser applications.

Compatibility

This Cat 6A cable is designed to meet or exceed ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 6A and IEC 61156-6 Category 6A standards. It is suitable for use with any network equipment requiring Category 6A performance, including managed switches, IP cameras, access control panels, and industrial PCs. The 24 AWG stranded conductors ensure flexibility and reliable termination with standard RJ45 connectors. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at for PoE applications.

Installation Notes

The cable's construction includes a polypropylene foam tape element and an overall braided shield with foil, protected by a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket. This TPE jacket provides resistance to oils and allows for extreme flexibility, evidenced by UL AWM Style 2463 testing of 1 million cycles at 10x cable diameter and 10 million cycles at 20x cable diameter. It also passed 3 million flex cycles and 6 months of oil resistance at 20°C. The teal colored jacket aids in identification within complex cabling infrastructure.
