Overview

The Panduit PUP6XHD04GR-G is a 1000ft (305m) spool of Category 6A bulk copper cable designed for high-performance network installations. Featuring solid 23 AWG conductors, this U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable is plenum-rated (CMP) for use in air handling spaces, meeting stringent fire safety codes. It's engineered to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 100 meters, making it suitable for demanding data center and enterprise network backbones.

Compatibility

This Cat6A cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat6 systems. It is designed to terminate with standard RJ45 connectors and is compatible with Panduit's Pan-Net® copper connectivity solutions, including patch panels and jacks rated for Category 6A performance. Ensure all network components (switches, routers, patch panels, jacks) are also rated for Cat6A to achieve maximum throughput.

Installation Notes

The cable features a solid conductor construction, requiring termination with punch-down tools for patch panels and jacks. Its 1000ft length is provided on a spool for ease of deployment in structured cabling systems.
