Code Blue 70112 LS1000-K CC Enclosure Phone
Overview
The Code Blue 70112 is a hardened PoE-powered VoIP speakerphone designed for emergency communication infrastructure in utilities, industrial facilities, and public safety dispatch centers. Built to NEMA 4 specifications and conforming to UL 62368-1, this unit tolerates -40°C to 70°C operating temperatures — meaning it won't fail in unheated equipment rooms, outdoor equipment shelters, or areas subject to seasonal extremes. Full-duplex communication, ADA Braille bezels, and piezoelectric buttons (no sticking or jamming) address real deployment friction points in high-use emergency systems.
Compatibility
The 70112 integrates with emergency communication systems powered by Emercomm platforms. It accepts both 12V DC and PoE (802.3af) power inputs, eliminating dependency on a single power source — a critical resilience feature in facilities with backup power systems. Three contact closure inputs and three contact closure outputs allow integration with door access systems, alert panels, and external audio amplifiers. Three Ethernet ports on the enclosure itself enable local switching without consuming upstream network capacity. Line-level audio output (8 ohm) supports integration with existing PA/alerting infrastructure.
Installation Notes
The 70112 ships with proprietary screws for vandal resistance — standard tools won't remove them without the correct key. Mounting footprint: 11.75" (H) × 8.5" (W) × 2.5" (D); weight 6 lbs (2.72 kg) — verify wall or pedestal load capacity before installation. Conformal coating on the PCB protects against moisture and salt spray in coastal or high-humidity environments. Operating temperature range (-40°C to 70°C) requires verification of enclosure location — uninsulated outdoor cabinets may exceed upper limits during full-sun installation.
