ACTi CTI-SRVCS-3HRS-TECH Technical Service
Overview
The CTI-SRVCS-3HRS-TECH is a 3-hour block of on-site technical service from ACTi, designed to support surveillance system deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting. This service covers system integration planning, camera and recorder setup, network configuration, and validation testing — the hands-on engineering work that transforms hardware into a functioning security deployment. Use this when you need pre-sales engineering support, post-installation commissioning, or remediation of integration issues in existing ACTi camera and NVR systems.
Compatibility
This service applies to ACTi surveillance products across the full product line — IP cameras (dome, bullet, turret, panoramic, multi-sensor), network video recorders (NVRs), and network infrastructure components. It covers system architecture review, PoE switch planning and validation, firmware updates, ONVIF profile configuration, integration with third-party VMS platforms (Milestone, Genetec, Axis Camera Station compatibility where applicable), and network security hardening. Specific camera models and recorder configurations are determined during the service engagement — bring your bill of materials and network diagram to the technical session.
Installation Notes
Schedule this service during project planning or early deployment phases for maximum benefit. The technical resource will require remote or on-site access to your network, camera hardware, and NVR systems. Bring current network topology (switch port allocation, PoE budget, VLAN configuration if used), IP address schema, and any existing VMS or third-party integration requirements. Have administrative credentials available for network devices and recorders. Service duration is 3 hours of billable time — plan to use this for primary system configuration, integration testing, and validation rather than ongoing support.
