Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX7M is a 7-meter (23 ft) Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cord designed for 10GBASE-T Ethernet applications. Its 24 AWG solid conductor construction and high-performance modular plugs, featuring a solid foil tape to limit alien crosstalk, ensure reliable data transmission up to 500 MHz. This cable is suitable for demanding data center environments including I/O consolidation, server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-speed computing, supporting IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE applications.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards. It is compatible with any network device requiring Category 6A performance, including switches, routers, servers, and workstations. The cord supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt PoE applications, making it suitable for powering IP cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE-enabled devices. It is wired to be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.

Installation Notes

The UTP6AX7M features a tangle-free latch on its modular plugs, designed for fast release and reduced snagging during moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed RapidID barcodes simplify port mapping when used with compatible RapidID software. The cable has a diameter of 0.250 inches (6.4mm) and a CM flammability rating, suitable for in-wall, riser, and general-purpose use.
