Compatibility

This caster kit is designed to mount directly onto the following Middle Atlantic base series: BRK, MBRK, OBRK, RK, SRK, and OSR. Installation Notes

Each RKW caster kit includes four casters. Two of the casters are equipped with locking brakes to secure the rack in its desired position, preventing unintended movement. Installation typically involves bolting the casters to the underside of the compatible rack base. Consult the specific rack model's installation manual for precise mounting hole locations and recommended hardware torque values. The casters add approximately 2-3/4 inches to the overall height of the rack system.

Weight Capacity

The Middle Atlantic RKW caster kit is rated for a maximum weight capacity of 150 lbs (68 kg) per kit. This capacity must account for the weight of the rack itself, all installed equipment, and any cabling. Exceeding this limit can compromise stability and lead to equipment damage or failure.
