The Vertiv 18286 is a rack mounting bracket designed to securely install specific Vertiv and APC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units into standard 19-inch server racks. This bracket addresses the need for stable, organized power infrastructure in data centers and network closets, preventing accidental dislodging of critical power equipment.
This mounting kit is engineered for compatibility with the following APC Smart-UPS models: SMT750, SMT1000, SMT1500, SMT750RM2U, SMT1000RM2U, and SMT1500RM2U. It is designed for 2U rack space applications.
Installation requires a standard Phillips head screwdriver and potentially a T20 Torx driver for securing the UPS to the bracket. The bracket attaches to the front rails of a 19-inch rack, with the UPS unit then sliding into the bracket and being secured.
