Compatibility
The WV-QAT501-W is engineered specifically for i-PRO outdoor PTZ camera families. It serves as the intermediate mechanical coupler between your PTZ camera body and a locally sourced mounting bracket, following the camera manufacturer's installation guide. The pendant design is mandatory for correct function — the pipe must hang vertically from ceiling or overhead fastening points. Mounting at a slant or on a horizontal surface will compromise optical alignment and shorten component life. Confirm your bracket design will not interfere with the camera's pan-tilt range or field of view before final installation.
Installation Notes
Secure, vertical mounting is non-negotiable. i-PRO specifies that improper installation can result in injury or property damage. The attachment pipe must be fastened to your mount bracket using the included M6 hexagon screws according to the camera's installation documentation. Operating temperature range is –50 °C to +60 °C (–58 °F to +140 °F), suitable for temperate to subarctic outdoor deployments. Before connecting, confirm that no locally procured bracket component will obstruct the camera's normal operation. Once the camera is decommissioned, remove the attachment pipe to prevent environmental degradation.
