The Code Blue 40016 is a replacement access door assembly designed for CB5 Series tower enclosures manufactured 2021 and later. This component provides secure front-panel access to internal speakerphone electronics and wiring, essential when servicing, troubleshooting, or swapping paging amplifiers and audio components inside the tower housing.

Compatibility

The 40016 access door fits Code Blue CB5 Series towers manufactured from 2021 onward. Verify your CB5 tower production date on the unit nameplate before ordering—earlier CB5 models may use a different enclosure variant. This part is not compatible with CB1, CB2, CB4, CB6, CB9, or CBRT series towers.

Installation Notes

Installation requires removal of the old access door assembly from the tower front panel, typically secured with hex fasteners. Ensure the tower is powered off and disconnected from the audio paging system before beginning work. Align the new door with the enclosure frame opening and secure with the original hardware (torque specifications available in the CB5 service manual). Do not force the door—proper alignment prevents binding and ensures weathertight closure.
