Overview
The Vertiv VR1021 is a 12U wall-mount rack designed for secure, space-efficient equipment deployment in environments where floor-standing racks are not feasible. Its compact footprint and wall-mounting capability make it ideal for network closets, retail back offices, or small IT rooms requiring organized and protected component housing. The single mesh front door provides ventilation while securing the internal equipment.
Compatibility
This rack is designed to accommodate standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. While specific model compatibility is broad, it is suitable for housing network switches, patch panels, small servers, and other standard IT or surveillance components up to 12U in height. Ensure your equipment's depth does not exceed the internal usable depth of the rack.
Installation Notes
The VR1021 features reversible mounting, allowing the door to swing open from either the left or right, adapting to site constraints. The design includes provisions for cabinet elevation or pallet brackets to enhance stability and secure the installation to the floor or wall. The easy back-door access, which swings away from the wall on a hinge and includes a lock, simplifies maintenance and cable management.
