Instead of replacing the NVR—which triggers controller reconfiguration, licensing rework, and downtime—you connect this external unit to the recorder's dedicated expansion interface. The expansion unit integrates automatically; no firmware updates or special configuration required beyond physical mounting and power connection.
Compatibility
This expansion unit is engineered exclusively for the i-PRO WJ-ND400 NVR family. Verify your recorder model against this compatibility list before purchase; the WJ-HDE400/6000T6 will not function with other i-PRO, Panasonic, or third-party NVR series.
