Overview
The Panduit CJ688TGBL-24 is a Mini-Com® Cat 6 UTP RJ45 TG Jack Module designed for terminating 4-pair, 22-26 AWG twisted-pair cable. This module is 100% factory tested to exceed industry standard performance requirements, ensuring reliable data transmission for network infrastructure. The TG style termination simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a dedicated termination tool. Each jack is individually serialized for traceability. This module is black and is ideal for use with Mini-Com Modular Patch Panels and Faceplates in commercial or enterprise network deployments.
Compatibility
This jack module is engineered to exceed component and channel requirements of ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E standards up to 250 MHz, supporting 10GBASE-T transmission over twisted pair cabling systems up to 100 meters. It meets ANSI/TIA-1096-A and IEC 60603-7 standards. The module is rated for 2500 cycles with IEEE 802.3af / 802.3at and proposed 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) standards, making it suitable for powering network devices.
Installation Notes
The TG style termination requires no special termination tool, simplifying field installation. Each module is rated for 2500 mating cycles, providing long-term durability. The jack module supports PoE++ (802.3bt) power delivery, which is critical for powering higher-wattage network devices without requiring local power supplies.
