Overview
The ATEN CS1182D4C is a 2-port USB DVI Secure KVM Switch designed for environments requiring strict peripheral isolation between computer sources. Compliant with PSD PP v4.0 (Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Device), this switch ensures that keyboard, mouse, and monitor connections are isolated, preventing data leakage. It supports high-resolution video up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (UHD) and includes Common Access Card (CAC) reader support, making it suitable for government, military, and financial institutions where secure access is paramount. The rack-mounting design facilitates integration into standard server racks.
Compatibility
This KVM switch is compatible with DVI-I Dual Link video interfaces and USB keyboards and mice. It supports standard DVI Single Link resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and DVI Dual Link resolutions up to 2560 x 1600, in addition to UHD 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz. The inclusion of stereo audio jacks allows for audio pass-through. It is designed to work with any computer system that provides DVI-I and USB outputs.
Installation Notes
